Since 1984, Canadian-born Cirque du Soleil has won over audiences’ hearts from around the world and they are back at it as they invite you to come and witness gravity-defying acts in this wondrously produced story line taking place in the land of Varekai, “a captivating forest inhabited by whimsical and enchanted creatures”. Come witness the magic of Cirque du Soleil as Varekai will be sure to stimulate your senses and evoke your imagination.
From the Cirque du Soleil website:
“Deep within a forest, at the summit of a volcano, exists an extraordinary world,…a world called Varekai. The word Varekai means “wherever” in the Romany language of the gypsies the universal wanderes. This production pays tribute to the nomadic soul, to the spirit and art of the circus tradition, and to the infinite passion of those whose quest takes them along the path that leads to Varekai.”
