Get ready to experience taiko drums like you have never before. Yamato Drummers of Japan comes to Vancouver for the first time and for one night only on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre at 8 p.m. Expect to see and listen to a stunning display of drumming athleticism and artistry that will sure thrill your auditory and visual senses.

Yamato was founded in Japan in 1993 by Aristic Director Masa Ogawa. The drummers are dedicated to showcasing the incredible, sheer power of Japan’s traditional taiko drums, which all range in different sizes. In addition to the drums, Yamato combines its performance with dance, unique costumes, and so much more.
