Hakuna Matata – The Lion King is Coming to Vancouver!

One of the most anticipated musicals is finally making its way to Vancouver – Broadway Across Canada (BAC) proudly presents The Lion King! Varekai, from Cirque du Soleil arrives in Vancouver on May 20th

The circus returns to Vancouver as Cirque du Soleil announces the tour of their newest mystical creation, Varekai. From May 20^th to 24^th, be a part of this extraordinary world, “where something else is possible”, as Varekai makes a stop in Vancouver at the Pacific Coliseum.

In celebration, Minami Restaurant is giving away two pairs of tickets to its upcoming Varekai performance, plus two $50 Minami gift cards. In addition, we are offering our subscribers to save $10 on selected seats available at this link.

Beauty & The Beast Comes to Vancouver

Broadway Across Canada (BAC) is back this winter with the smash Broadway hit, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. From February 3rd to February 8th, experience a tale as old as time at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. This musical is based on the Academy Award-winning animated film and features some favourite and memorable songs, such as “Be Our Guest”, “Something There”, and “Beauty and the Beast”. This eye-popping spectacle has won the hearts of over 35 million people worldwide and is the classic musical love story filled with unforgettable characters, lavish sets and costumes, and dazzling production numbers.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. Time for Flashdance!

Broadway Across Canada (BAC) is back this fall with pop culture phenomenon, FLASHDANCE – THE MUSICAL, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. From November 11th to November 16, guests will enjoy entertaining dancing, music, in addition to a great story. The musical features some of the biggest hits from the movie, including the Academy Award-winning title song “Flashdance – What a Feeling,” “Maniac,” “Gloria,” “Manhunt,” and “I Love Rock & Roll.” In addition, 16 brand new songs have been written for the musical with music by Robbie Roth and lyrics by Robert Cary and Robbie Roth.

Broadway’s Wicked comes to Vancouver!

We are excited to partner with Broadway Across Canada (BAC) on a giveaway to one of Broadway’s most beloved musicals – Wicked. Coming to Vancouver Wednesday, May 28 until Sunday, June 29, 2014, this is the second time the award-winning Wicked has toured in our city, and it is back due to popular demand!
